I'm not one to trash an author, but this guy's book was terrible. The content was there, but it was horribly written, badly formatted and an overall mess. This guy should have been arrested on homicide charges for murdering the english language.
I'm also not someone who calls out people by name, but in this case, I must.
The author is me.
I wrote a book several years ago called The Disciple Project about my thoughts on discipleship and about a program that engaged my students, on our main meeting night, for 3 months, doing the things that Jesus would do like visiting the lonely and praying for the sick.
A few years ago, I edited the book, again. It was still trash and I was embarrassed, cringing when anyone bought it knowing I could do better.
I am happy to announce that I have editing the book again to the point where I didn't cringe the last time someone bought it.
To continue the 15th year celebration of Disciple Project Ministries, I have cut the price of the book in half and that is in addition to the 15% celebration discount that is going on until April 8th.Just use the discount: fifteen at checkout.
Clearly, do not have to purchase the book, but if you do, just know that it is the best version of what I hoped to communicate to youth pastors who are wanting to disciple students and grow their ministry at the same time.
