Bobby Unser won the Indy 500 3 times. His brother, Al Unser, won the Indy 500 4 times. Al Unser Jr. won the Indy 500 twice. That's a lot of winning but it wasn't by accident.
An interviewer made an observation about Al Unser Jr., "Your car is traveling at something like 230 miles and hour, I don't know how you even see the track at that speed." To which Al said, "You have to look way out in front of you. Because (at Indy) you are covering a football field a second."
In other words, things moves fast.
Think about your past year and how fast it went. And the year before that. Because life moves so fast it's maybe best to treat it like driving a race car, looking way out ahead of yourself, asking,
"Where do I want to be at the end of this race (year)?"
or
"How do I need to prepare to achieve my goals? "
Bobby Unser knew the opportunity to win would be available, but he also knew that if he were not prepared for those opportunities, he likely would not win. He knew it took both vision and preparation see that checkered race flag.
There are opportunities ahead of you,

Were you the best youth pastor you could be in 2025? How did you prepare for that? If not, what would you change?
What kind of youth pastor do you want to be at the end of 2026? How are you preparing for that?
What habits are you willing to commit to? What things are you willing to leave behind?
What new things are you willing to try?
